Brief as of

Crypto spent Wednesday in a broad pullback, with total market cap down 1.92% to $2.59 trillion while Bitcoin held near $81,800. The tape leaned heavily lower, with 49 of 55 tracked coins falling against just two risers.

Bitcoin traded at $81,771, down 1.9% on the day and 2.12% over the past week. It held above its $81,542 support level, with resistance at $81,867, and dominance sat at 63.4% as the broader market slipped.

The downside was led by Optimism, which fell 11.49% to $0.141957 after a 14.91% gain over the past week. Artificial Superintelligence Alliance dropped 7.0% to $0.199903, while Ethena lost 6.93% to $0.196482 and Lido DAO slipped 6.52% to $0.404435.

On the upside, Pyth Network rose 5.02% to $0.084015, extending a 13.07% weekly gain and a 48.82% move over 30 days. TRON added 1.27% to $0.331917, and Monero gained 0.57% to $553.99. Stablecoins Dai and USDC held flat near $1.00.

Breadth was decisively negative, with 49 coins falling, 2 rising, and 4 steady. Volume leader USDT saw $59.6 billion in trades, and the combination of broad declines with Bitcoin holding support suggests a risk-off tilt rather than a rotation into majors.

The pullback follows yesterday's 0.49% market cap slip, and today's 1.92% drop marks a second straight day of losses. Bitcoin's 7-day decline of 2.12% and the concentration of losses in altcoins point to a market digesting recent gains, with OP's weekly rise of 14.91% now giving back some of that move.

Watch whether Bitcoin holds its $81,542 support level, as a break below could accelerate the altcoin selloff. Pyth Network's continued strength against a falling market may signal selective demand for oracle tokens.
